It was very strange. This morning I woke up with this song in my head and I just had to listen to it. I remember sneaking records from my dad's collection ( he never let me touch his records) what a beautiful song. Gina...you sound like your dad. Beautiful job both of you

I attended St. Catherine's Military School in Anaheim 7-8 grades (boarding school) with Don Jr. His bed was next to mine. We were best friends, but I lost touch after graduating. His brother Alan was a year or two behind us. Was just reminiscing and found this post while googling him to see if he is still around. We will both be 80, next year. How time flies.

(Paul, Beverly "Hills", BeeJay, & you.) You & I both celebrated our birthdays - April, 1984 during that week. You have no idea how many times I've told the "road story" about that "supposed to be locked 'naughty' floor" we stumbled on & eventually BANNED from! Lol PS, I have lots of videos & audio/slideshows on my youtube channel should you ever wish to go back in time & watch yourself way back in the mid 1980s. ;)

Gina Eckstine & Elmer Hopper tried their best & it was not a bad performance. However, this beautiful ballad exclusively belongs to one of the greatest duet parings in musical history, Eckstine & Vaughan. All leading vocal challengers are wasting their time.

I was in the LA County jail with Elmer back in I think 1983. He wasn't a criminal, he had a misdemeanor 502. We used to check out the guitars and jam in the dorms, We'd draw crowds. I just thought about him and did a google search and found out he passed last year. Man, he was a good guy. Sorry to hear about his passing.
